The Rockies are averaging 4.49 runs per game which is sixth best in the league. The pitching has been the issue, but on Sunday they need to be a strength like it was on Saturday. C.J. On the other side of this matchup is the Diamondbacks who sit with a 65-73 record overall but they haven’t looked good so far in this series. The Diamondbacks' pitching is giving up 4.58 runs per game which is 22nd in the league. The offense is ranked 11th in the league and will need to be better here. Christian Walker is having a strong season hitting 32 home runs and driving in 78 RBIs so far this season.
On the mound for the Diamondbacks is Zac Gallen and he sits with an 11-2 record and an ERA of 2.42.
On the mound for the Rockies will be Ryan Feltner who sits with a 2-7 record and an ERA of 5.85. In his last start, he went 5.1 innings giving up five hits and four runs.
The Diamondbacks are 8-1 in Gallen’s last nine starts. The under is 5-0 in Feltner’s last five starts on grass. The under is 4-0 in Feltner’s last four starts as an underdog.
The Rockies have won the first two games of this series, but it’s going to change here. Gallen has been so strong this season and he currently sits with an ERA of 2.42. The Rockies are going to have issues scoring even a run here, and this game is going to be an easy win for the Diamondbacks. Back the Diamondbacks on the run line.
