On Wednesday the Rangers offense had a big game putting up 16 runs against the Colorado Rockies and that led to the 12-run victory. The Rangers offense is averaging 4.5 runs per game which is 10th in the league. Adolis Garcia has hit 20 home runs and driven in 78 RBIs.
On the mound for the Tigers is Tyler Alexander and he sits with a 3-7 record and an ERA of 4.03. In his last start against the Los Angeles Angels, he went six innings giving up seven hits and three runs.
On the mound for the Rangers is Glenn Otto who sits with a 5-8 record and an ERA of 4.66. In his last start against the Minnesota Twins, he went 5.2 innings giving up three hits and one run.
The Rangers are 4-1 in their last five games. The Tigers are 0-4 in their last four games following an off-day. The under is 9-0-2 in Alexander’s last 11 starts on grass. The under is 6-0-1 in Alexander’s last seven road starts.
Runs are going to be hard to come by in this game. The under has been a strong play in Alexander’s last seven road starts. Otto is coming off a start where he gave up one run, and I expect runs are going to be hard to come by for both teams. Look for a lower-scoring game and the under is going to cash here.
