On the other side of this matchup is the St. Louis Cardinals who sit with a 27-21 record overall and they have won three of their last four games. Over the last three wins the Cardinals have given up only eight runs total, and they need to get good pitching again in this game. The Cardinals offense is ranked 6th while their pitching staff is ranked 8th. Paul Goldschmidt is having a big season hitting 11 home runs and driving in 42 RBIs.
