The Pittsburgh Pirates and St. Louis Cardinals face off on Saturday in an MLB showdown at Busch Stadium. These two teams played the first game of the season on Thursday and it was the Cardinals that won 9-0.

This is a Pirates team that doesn’t have a ton of confidence heading into the season and the first game might be a good indication of why, they are going to have some struggles scoring runs. In Game 1 Pittsburgh had six hits but they couldn’t get any of them across the plate. The Pirates also had two errors and that is something that will need to be cleaned up.
