The Chicago White Sox and Detroit Tigers face off on Saturday in an MLB showdown in the American League Central at Comerica Park. When these two teams faced off on Friday it was Detroit that won 5-4.

The Detroit Tigers fell behind early in their game on Friday but they played better as the game went on and it was the four runs scored in the last two innings that allowed them to secure the victory. Miguel Cabrara was the top player for the White Sox finishing with one hit and two runs driven in. Eduardo Rodriguez wasn’t super strong on the mound but the bullpen looked good and that is going to be a key in this game again.

The White Sox have some high expectations for this season but it was the Bullpen that cost them a chance at winning the game. Aaron Bummer and Liam Hendricks both gave up two runs. A.J. Pollack played in the first game and looked good finishing with three hits, one run, and one hit.

Getting the start for the Tigers will be Casey Mize and he didn’t get a ton of run support last year. Mize finished with a 7-9 record and an ERA of 3.71. The Tigers need to give him some run support in this game.

Getting the start for the White Sox will be Dylan Cease and last season for the White Sox he finished with a 13-7 record and an ERA of 3.91.

The White Sox’s bullpen blew the last game, but I don’t think that is going to be the case again in this game.
