The Atlanta Braves will play host to the Houston Astros for Game 4 of the World Series from Truist Park in Atlanta. The Braves won the last game in a shutout.
Game 3 was the first game in this series in which neither of these final clubs put up a high amount of runs. An RBI double from Austin Riley and an insurance homer from Travis d’Arnaud were all the runs Atlanta needed to pull this game out. Ian Anderson made the first half of the game extremely tough for the Astros. In his 5 innings of action, he gave up not a single hit. Anderson gave away just three walks and totaled 4 strikeouts as he kept the Astros hit total to zero.
Houston was on a great run right before this, winning the last three against Boston. Now they have lost two in this series, but Houston has been here before. Their post season success shouldn’t be taken lightly as Yordan Alveraz is .410, and Jose Altuve has 4 homers. When we think about the injuries for this Astros team, it’s impressive that they’ve still been this dominant in the regular and postseason.
We’re getting plus money here with an Astros team that has the postseason experience. Yes, the Braves look like champs and I do see them winning it all. I just don’t think Houston has given all they have. This is a team that has fought to remain dominant and after losing Game 3, they definitely would like to refresh the public’s memory on their grit.
