The Atlanta Braves and Los Angeles Dodgers face off on Wednesday in Game 4 of the NLCS at Dodger Stadium. The Braves currently lead the series 2-1.
In the first two games of the series, the Braves were able to win each by a run. In Game 3, it looked like the Braves were going to take the 3-0 series lead, before the bullpen blew the game late. The Dodgers got the scoring going in the first inning taking the 2-0 lead. The Braves bounced back, scoring four runs in the 4th inning. It looked like they were cruising until the 8th inning when Luke Jackson blew the game. Jackson only pitched 0.1 innings giving up four hits and four runs. Cody Bellinger hit a three run home run to tie the game, and Mookie Betts drove in the go ahead run. The Braves top player was Adam Duvall who had two hits and two runs driven in.
The Braves top player this postseason has been Joc Pederson who has hit three home runs and driven in eight RBI’s. Austin Riley and Eddie Rosario have both driven in four runs and Rosario has been a key during this series. The big question for the Braves in this game is how will they bounce back from the disappointment of losing the last game.
Cody Bellinger, Corey Seager, and Chris Taylor have all driven in six runs for the Dodgers this season. Catcher Will Smith has driven in three runs and four hits. The Bats have been a little cold during this season, until the eighth inning of game 3, and they need to try and get out to a faster start in this game.
Getting the start for the Dodgers will be Julio Urias who has pitched one inning in the postseason against the Braves giving up three hits and two runs.
The Braves had their chance to get closer to the World Series in Game 3 and they failed. Now all the momentum is with the Dodgers, and their bats have woken up. Look for the Dodgers to run up the score in this game, and the Braves are going to have no answer. Back the Dodgers on the money line.
