Monday is a lighter slate across the MLB with only five games taking place, but there is still plenty of value in terms of MLB prop bets. Let’s take a look at the best MLB prop bets and MLB player prop bets to make you some money to start the week.
Cleveland Indians -3.5 runs (+230)
The Cleveland Indians are going to have a fun afternoon of baseball. Jackson Kowar gets the start for the Indians and he has been awful this year. In each of his last three starts, he has had at least five runs given up, including two games ago where he only went an inning. The Indians are going to tee off on him early and often, and they will win this game by at least four runs.
Daily total runs - Under 50.5 (-110)
I think there will be a few high-scoring games, but I don’t expect any to finish with 14 or 15 runs. With only five games taking place it only takes one to finish with four or five runs, and that will be enough to keep it under. The Pirates/Reds and Athletics/Mariners game will help keep this number under.
Oakland Athletics under 3.5 runs (+110)
The Oakland Athletics bats are going to be ice cold in this game. Chris Flexen gets the start for the Mariners and he has been lights out as of late. In each of his last two starts, he has given up only two runs total. Look for the A’s bats to really struggle against Flexen and the under will cash with ease.
Matt Manning over 3.5 strikeouts (+115)
There is a ton of value with Matt Manning to strike out at least four batters at +115. Manning is a bit inconsistent but in two of his last three starts he has had at least four strikeouts. Look for Manning to have at least four, and the +115 to cash.
