It’s a full slate of games across the MLB on Saturday and there is plenty of value with free MLB picks. Let’s take a look at a free MLB pick on each of the games to make you money.

St. Louis Cardinals -169 at Chicago Cubs +150

The St. Louis Cardinals are the hottest team in baseball, and this is too good of a price for them. Jon Lester makes his return to Wrigley Field, and he has been pitching well coming into this one. Over Lester’s last three starts he has given up only seven runs total. The Cubs pitching staff can’t be trusted, and the Cardinals will win this game.

Play: Cardinals ML

Pittsburgh Pirates +229 at Philadelphia Phillies -259 Total: 8.5

The Philadelphia Phillies are the better team, and they have a big advantage on the mound. Ranger Suarez sits with a 1.60 ERA and over his last three starts he has given up only five runs total. The Pirates are averaging only 3.72 points per game which is last place in baseball. The Phillies will run up the score, and win this game on the run line.

Play: Phillies -1.5

Houston Astros -110 at Oakland Athletics -110 Total: 8.5

The Astros only being -110 for this game is a gift. Sean Manaea gets the start for the Oakland Athletics and he has had some major struggles as of late giving up nine runs total over his last two starts. The Astros offense is hot, and they are going to run up the score against Manaea. Back the A’s.

Play: Oakland ML

New York Yankees +103 at Boston Red Sox -112 Total: 10.5

The wrong team is favored in this game. Nestor Cortes Jr gets the start for the Yankees and over his last three starts he has given up only six runs total. The Yankees are 4-1 in their last five meetings against the Red Sox. Back the Yankees on the money line.

Play: Yankees ML

Miami Marlins +185 at Tampa Bay Rays -213 Total: 7.5

The Marlins are going to pull the upset in this game. Sandy Alcantara gets the start for the Marlins and over his last three starts he has gone 23 innings and given up only three runs The Rays haven't been as dominant the last couple of weeks and they are going to struggle in this game. Back the Marlins.

Play: Marlins ML

Kansas City Royals +115 at Detroit Tigers -135 Total: 9

There will be plenty of runs scored in this game with two pitchers who haven’t been great. Jon Heasley sits with an ERA of 9.00. Tarik Skubal sits with an 8-12 record and an ERA of 4.25. Skubal hasn’t been going as deep in games, and in his last start, he went three innings giving up two runs. I expect both offenses are going to struggle and the over will cash.

Play: Over

Texas Rangers +125 at Baltimore Orioles -145 Total: 8.5

John Means went through a little drought a few starts ago, but he is back on the right track. Over his last three starts Means has given up only four runs, and in his last start against the Philadelphia Phillies, he went 6.2 innings giving up four hits and zero runs. The Rangers offense is averaging only 3.80 runs per game. Back the Orioles.

Play: Orioles ML -145

New York Mets at Milwaukee Brewers

These are both teams who have struggled a bit, but I have no faith in the Mets. They do send Rich Hill to the mound, but he has been inconsistent. On the mound for the Brewers is Corbin Burnes who has given up six runs over his last three starts. Playing the Mets is exactly what the Brewers need to get right.

Play: Brewers -1.5

Washington Nationals +137 at Cincinnati Reds -149 Total: 9.5

I don’t love that this total is set at 9.5, but there is no other way to bet this than the over. Erick  Fedde sits with an ERA of 5.10 and in his last start he gave up four runs. Vladimir Gutierrez pitched better earlier in the season, but he has really struggled as of late. In his last start he went 3.1 innings giving up seven hits and five runs. I expect the Nationals could get close to this number by themselves, and the over will cash.

Toronto Blue Jays at Minnesota Twins

There have been no starting pitchers announced for this game.

Chicago White Sox -175 at Cleveland Indians +155 Total: 8.5

The Cleveland Indians are going to pull the upset in this game. In two of Eli Morgan’s last three starts he has given up one run or less. The White Sox haven’t been as dominant the last couple of weeks and the offense has been a big reason why. Look for the Indians to win a low-scoring game.

Play: Indians ML

Atlanta Braves at San Diego Padres

The Padres haven’t been a team that can really be trusted and over their last ten games they have won only three games. Even with the struggles, this is a perfect chance to back them going against Huascar Ynoa. He hasn’t been gooing very deep in games as of late, and the Padres bats can take advantage.

Play: Padres ML

Los Angeles Dodgers -244 at Arizona Diamondbacks +205 Total: 8.5

There are plenty of other better games to bet, but if you want to bet this game, take the underdog. Clayton Kershaw hasn’t been going as deep in games, and it probably won’t change in this game. Zac Gallen isn’t elite, but as long as he can hold it under three runs given up, he will get the job done. Take the D-Backs.

Play: Diamondbacks ML

San Francisco Giants at Colorado Rockies

The Giants are going to get the job done. In Jon Gray’s last start against the Giants he gave up only three runs, but didn’t get any run support. The Rockies aren’t going to give him any run support again in this game, and the Giants will win this game.

Play: Giants ML

Seattle Mariners at Los Angeles Angels

There have been no starting pitchers announced for this game.
