Wednesday is another full slate of games across the MLB and that means plenty of free pick MLB winners. Let’s take a look at a free pick on each of the MLB games.

Pittsburgh Pirates at Cincinnati Reds

Luis Castillo is coming off a strong start, but for the most part this season he has had some struggles. Two starts ago, Castillo gave up eight hits and four runs. The Pirates bats have been performing a little better as of late, and the Pirates will win this game.

Play: Pirates ML

Chicago White Sox at Detroit Tigers

Runs are going to be very hard to come by in this game. Casey Mize doesn’t go all that deep in games, but in two of his last three starts he has given up one run or less. Reynaldo Lopez struggled in his last start, but overall this season he sits with an ERA of .3.00. I especially don’t trust the White Sox’s offense as of late, and the under will cash.

Play: Under

Toronto Blue Jays at Tampa Bay Rays

The Toronto Blue Jays bats are going to have a field day in this game. Michael Wacha gets the start for the Blue Jays and in his last start, he went six innings giving up seven hits and six runs. This game is going to get out of control early and the Blue Jays will win this game on the run line.

Play: Blue Jays -1.5

Kansas City Royals at Cleveland Indians

For some reason, the Cleveland Indians keep sending out Logan Allen to the mound. Over his last two starts, Allen has nine innings total giving up nine runs. The Kansas City Royals offense is going to tee off on him, and the Royals will win this game on the money line.

Play: Royals ML

Washington Nationals at Miami Marlins

The Nationals have really struggled this season and over their last ten games they have won only three games. The Marlins have one of the worst offenses in baseball, but they are going to find success in this game against Josiah Gray. In each of his last two starts he has gone five innings and given up five runs. The Marlins will win this game because of their offense.

Play: Marlins ML

Texas Rangers at New York Yankees.

These are must-win games for the New York Yankees, and I think they are going to find success in this game. Corey Kluber finally looked like the pitcher of old in his last game going six innings against the Cleveland Indians giving up four hits and zero runs. The Yankees offense gets to face off with Taylor Hearn who gave up eight hits and seven runs. There should be a few long balls for the Yankees that pace them to a victory on the run line.

Play: Yankees -1.5

Baltimore Orioles at Philadelphia Phillies

Keegan Akin gets the start for the Orioles and that means the Orioles are a fade. In Akin’s last start against the Boston Red Sox he went four innings giving up six hits and four runs. The Phillies offense has had some issues as of late, but they haven’t been facing off with Akin. Back the Phillies -3.5.

Play: Phillies -3.5

New York Mets at Boston Red Sox

Chris Sale gets the start for the Boston Red Sox, and he has been so inconsistent, it’s hard to want to put a lot of money on this game. Two starts ago Sale went 3.2 innings giving up ten hits and five runs, but in the last he went five innings giving up two hits and one run. The Mets send Tylor Megill to the mound and in his last start, he went three innings giving up nine hits and six runs. The Red Sox can give up some run support for Sale, and the Red Sox will win this game.

Play: Red Sox -1.5

St. Louis Cardinals at Milwaukee Brewers

Everything has been going right for the St. Louis Cardinals and that will continue in this game. Miles Mikolas is coming off a big start going 5.2 innings giving up three hits and zero runs. The Brewers offense only scored two runs in the first game of this series, and they are going to have issues going against Mikolas. Back the Cardinals on the money line.

Play: Cardinals ML

Minnesota Twins at Chicago Cubs

Joe Ryan gets the start for the Minnesota Twins and he has been quite the story since getting called up to the big leagues. On the season, Ryan has gone 17 innings giving up four runs. In the last game against the Cleveland Indians, he went five innings giving up three hits and one run. The Cubs are going to struggle to get good at bats against him, and the Twins will cover the spread.

Play: Twins ML

Los Angeles Dodgers at Colorado Rockies

I don’t love when elite pitchers pitch at Coors Field, but Walker Buehler has fared well at Coors Field. In his last start at Coors Field he went seven innings giving up four hits and two runs. I don’t expect him to be any worse than that in this game, and the Dodgers will win this game on the run line.

Play Dodgers -1.5

Houston Astros at Los Angeles Angels

Both offenses are going to find success in this game. In Janson Junk’s first start of the season, he went 3.2 innings against the Angels giving up five runs. Junk did bounce back in his last start, but the Astros will get to him early. In two of Luis Garcia’s last three starts he has given up at least three runs, and if the Astros can get those three runs it will be enough for the over to cash.

Play: Over

Atlanta Braves at Arizona Diamondbacks

This is a big series for the Atlanta Braves, and they are going to find offensive success in this game  Each of the last two starts for Merrill Kelly haven’t been good, giving up at least 10 hits and four runs. The Braves are going to get the offense out to a fast start early against Kelly, and Ian Anderson is going to have a strong start and the Braves will win this game on the run line.

Play: Braves -1.5

Seattle Mariners at Oakland Athletics

Cole Irvin has been a guy that has been hard to figure out. Irvin has been pretty good this season in terms of ERA, but he has a record of 10-13. I expect the Mariners are going to get to Irvin, and once again the A’s won’t give him any run support. Back the Mariners on the money line.

Play: Mariners ML

San Francisco Giants at San Diego Padres

There have been no starting pitchers announced for this game.
