Baltimore Orioles to score first and lose (+425)
The Baltimore Orioles the last week has been scoring first in games, but struggling as the games go on and the bullpen blows it late. When Gerrit Cole has struggled this season, it’s been early in games he has gotten hit. Look for the Orioles to score the first run off of Cole, and lose this game.
Highest scoring game - San Diego Padres, San Francisco Giants
Oracle Park isn’t known as a hitters ballpark, but it will still have the highest-scoring game on Tuesday night. Jake Arrieta has been awful this year, and he could give up seven or eight runs by himself. Anthony Desclafani has been a bit inconsistent too and he could give up five or six runs to a strong Padres offense.
Chicago Cubs, Philadelphia Phillies under 0.5 runs in the first inning (+105)
This bet is based on the +105 value. Kyle Gibson has struggled a bit his last couple of starts, but he has still been one of the best pitchers in the league this year. Adrian Sampson has given up only two runs total over his last two starts. Neither team will score in the first inning of this game.
Charlie Barnes under 3.5 strikeouts (-105)
Charlie Barnes isn’t a strikeout pitcher and he isn’t magically going to start striking out Cleveland Indians in this game. Barnes has made six starts this season and hasn’t ever finished with more than three strikeouts. Barnes isn’t going to magically start striking out guys in this game. Back Barnes to finish under 3.5 strikeouts.
