It’s a full slate of games on Friday and that means there is plenty of value across the board in terms of MLB picks. Let’s take a look at a free MLB pick for each of the games.

Chicago White Sox -145 at Chicago Cubs +133

The Chicago White Sox send Lance Lynn to the mound, and that means the Cubs are going to have real issues scoring runs in this game. In two of Lynn’s last three starts, he has given up only one run. Back the White Sox on the money line.

Play: White Sox ML

New York Mets -110 at Philadelphia Phillies -110 Total: 8.5

Runs are going to be very hard to come by in this game. Marcus Stroman gets the start for the Mets and Kyle Gibson gets the start for the Phillies. Especially the Mets are going to struggle to score in this game, and that will lead to the under cashing.

Play: Under

Tampa Bay Rays -143 at Baltimore Orioles +132 Total: 9.5

John Means looks to be back to his old form, and he is going to be strong in this game again. In Means last start he gave up only a run, and the Rays offense has still been inconsistent this year. Back the Orioles to pull the upset.

Play: Orioles ML +132

Seattle Mariners at New York Yankees

The Yankees are going to find offensive success early in this game against Marco Gonzales and this game is going to be a shootout. I also think the Mariners should find some offensive success early. Back the over.

Play: Over

Pittsburgh Pirates +190 at Cincinnati Reds -209 Total: 9

We have made a lot of money off of Wade Miley this season, but he hasn’t been as dominant as of late. In each of Miley’s last two starts, he has given up three runs. The pIrates don’t have the best offense, but they are going to find enough success to get the job done in this game. Back the Pirates.

Play: Pirates ML +190

Washington Nationals at Atlanta Braves

The Atlanta Braves are going to get the job done in this game. Kyle Muller gets the start for the Braves and he has been strong this year sitting with an ERA of 2.43. The Nationals offense has been inconsistent since trading away some key pieces and they are going to have issues in this game. Back the Braves on the money line.

Play: Braves ML

Detroit Tigers +138 at Cleveland Indians -150 Total: 9

Matt Manning has gone through growing pains this season, something the Indians are going to take advantage of. Cal Quantrill has been good most of the season, and this game is going to get ugly early. Back the Indians on the alternate run line of -2.5.

Play: Indians -2.5

San Francisco Giants at Milwaukee Brewers

The San Francisco Giants had a big comeback on Thursday, and they are going to carry that momentum into this game. Logan Webb is expected to start in this game, and the Brewers offense is going to struggle in this game. Back the Giants on the money line.

Play: Giants ML

Minnesota Twins +219 at Houston Astros -239 Total: 9.5

There are going to be plenty of runs scored in this game. Bailey Ober has had his issues this season, and Zack Grienke has had his issues at times. The Twins traded away some key players, but the offense is still getting good at bats. Back the over.

Play: Over

Kansas City Royals at St. Louis Cardinals

The Cardinals have had plenty of issues, but one of those players who hasn’t been an issue is Adam Wainwright. I expect Wainwright to be good, but I don’t trust the Cardinals offense is going to be good in this game. Back the under.

Play: Under

Miami Marlins at Colorado Rockies

Sandy Alcantara hasn’t gotten good run support this season, and it’s not going to change in this game. German Marquez gets the start for the Rockies and that means the Marlins are going to really struggle to score

Play: Rockies ML

Texas Rangers +196 at Oakland Athletics -216 Total: 8

I don’t love the price of the Oakland Athletics, but the Texas Rangers are not a team that can be trusted. Mike Foltynewicz gets the start for the Rangers and he has been awful this year. Back the A’s to get the job done on the money line.

Play: A’s -1.5

Los Angeles Angels +165 at Los Angeles Dodgers -181 Total: 9

This total is too high. David Price has been a bit inconsistent this year, but I expect he will step up and make life tough on the Los Angeles Angels. The Angels have gotten better pitching as of late, and this game is going to go under.

Play: Under

Arizona Diamondbacks at San Diego Padres

The Arizona Diamondbacks blew their game on Thursday, and Friday the results aren’t going to be any better in this game. Caleb Smith gets the start for the D-Backs and on the season he sits with an ERA of 5.04. Look for the Padres to run up the score in this game, and that will lead to Padres getting the job done on the run line.

Padres -1.5
