The American League and National League face off on Tuesday night in the American in the MLB All-Star game at Coors Field in Denver. The American League has won each of the last six games. Last year’s All-Star game was canceled, but in 2019, the American League won 4-3.
The National League is going to be led by Fernando Tatis Jr,, Nolan Arenado, and Adam Frazier just to name a few. One of the big issues for this National League team is that some key players are hurt. including Buster Posey and Ronald Acuna Jr.. The bats for this National League squad are strong, but the stronger part of this teami is probably actually the rotation.
The American League is headlined by Shohei Ohtani, who is going to be pitching in this game, and will also be batting. Some of the other key starters for the American League include Vladimir Guerrero Jr, Aaron Judge, and Marcus Semien. Some of the key reserves also include Gerrit Cole, Matt Barnes, and Gregory Soto. This team also has Gerrit Cole, Carlos Rodón, and Lance Lynn. are going to be key if the American League wants to come away with the victory.
One of the big x-factors for this game that isn’t being talked about is this game being at Coors Field. Usually, it’s the pitchers that have the advantage, but with it being at Coors Field, is that something that could change the outlook of this game. The total is just such an unknown, it’s something that you should stay away from.
This has been dominated by the American League, but I think this year it changes. The National League has the advantage on the mound, and that will be the difference as the Rockies fans go home happy, as the National League wins.
