It’s a lighter slate of games across the MLB on Thursday, but there is still plenty of value across the board in terms of MLB player props. Let’s take a look at the best MLB player props to make your day a winning one.
Jameson Taillon under 5.5 strikeouts (-123)
Jameson Taillon isn’t going to rack up the strikeouts on Thursday afternoon. Only once in his last five starts has he gone over five strikeouts, and he isn’t going to add to that in this game. Look for Taillon to finish under 5.5 strikeouts.
Aaron Judge under 0.5 hits (+175)
Aaron Judge had five at-bats on Wednesday against the Kansas City Royals, and he finished the game with four strikeouts and zero hits. Judge is lacking confidence again heading into this game, and he is going to have issues again. Look for Judge to rack up the strikeouts, and fail to get a hit, which means the +175 is going to cash.
Josh Bell over 0.5 runs batted in (+100)
I wish the odds were a little better for this bet, but they aren’t, and there is still a lot of value with the +100 to cash. The Nationals offense was strong on Wednesday, and a big reason was Josh Bell who finished with a home run and four runs driven in. Look for Bell to find some success against Cody Poteet, and he will have at least one run batted in.
Minnesota Twins over 4.5 runs (-130)
The Minnesota Twins offense is going to run up the score in this game. J.C. Mejia will get the start for the Cleveland Indians and he has had some real issues this season. In the last game, Meija went five innings giving up seven hits and six runs. Look for the Twins to find the offensive success early, and get the job done with ease.
