It’s a full slate of games across the MLB on Tuesday, and there is plenty of value across the board in terms of MLB picks. Let’s take a look at free MLB pick on each of the games.
Cincinnati Reds -115 at Minnesota Twins -105 Total: 9,5
Runs are going to be very hard to come by in this game for both teams. Bailey Ober has been one of the only bright spots in the rotation for the Twins, and he went four innings in his last start giving up only one hit. For the Reds, it will be Wade Miley who sits with a 2.88 ERA. Both offenses will be cold, and the under will cash.
Houston Astros -179 at Baltimore Orioles +160 Total: 10.5
The Houston Astros are the better team in this matchup, and they should be closer to -200 or -220 in this game. Jorge Lopez is on the mound for the Orioles and coming into this game he sits with a 5.95 ERA. The Astros are going to run up the score, and the Orioles are going to have no answer. Back the Orioles to win this game on the run line.
Play: Astros -1,5
Washington Nationals at Philadelphia Phillies
The Philadelphia Phillies send Zack Wheeler to the mound, and he is going to have no issue locking down the Nationals bats. The Phillies bats have also been inconsistent, and they will struggle to score in this game. Back the under to cash.
Chicago White Sox -169 at Pittsburgh Pirates +150 Total: 7.5
The fact that this number is 7.5 is a bit shocking. Tyler Anderson is coming off a bad start, and the White, Sox bats are going to have no issue against him. For Lucas Giolito, he has been hit hard at times this season, and he is going to have issues in this game. Back the over to cash with ease.
Kansas City Royals +230 at New York Yankees -270 Total: 8
The New York Yankees send Gerritt Cole to the mound, but there really is no value with betting them at -270. The Royals bats are going to be cold though, and the only way to bet the Yankees is with an alternate run line at -2.5.
Play: Yankees -2.5
Atlanta Braves -110 at New York Mets -110 Total: 7
The Mets should be bigger favorites in this game. Over the last ten games, the Braves sit with a 4-6 record overall, Marcus Storman still isn’t getting enough attention for what he has done this year for the Mets. The Braves are going to struggle to score and the Mets will win this game.
Play: Mets ML -110
St. Louis Cardinals -125 at Detroit Tigers +105 Total: 9
The Tigers might be the best underdog on the board, and it wouldn’t be shocking when this game goes off if they were the favorite. The Tigers have played better than expected this season, and now they send Tarik Skubal to the mound. Skubal has gone 3-0 with a 2.74 ERA in his last four starts. The Cardinals are going to struggle to score, and the Tigers will come away with the victory.
Play: Tigers ML +105
Toronto Blue Jays -115 at Miami Marlins -105 Total: 7.5
The Miami Marlins found success against the Chicago Cubs over the weekend, and a big reason was because of the pitching. One of the strong pitches for the Marlins has been Sandy Alcantara and he sits with a 3.09 ERA. Look for the Blue Jays offense to struggle to score, and that will lead to the Marlins getting the job done on the money line.
Play: Marlins ML -105
Boston Red Sox -110 at Tampa Bay Rays -110 Total: 8
The top favorite on the entire slate is the Tampa Bay Rays. The Rays offense gets to tee off on Eduardo Rodriguez who hasn’t had a quality start in over a month. Rodriguez sits with an ERA of 6.21 and the Rays are going to run up the score in this game. Back the Rays to get the job done on the money line.
Play: Rays -1.5
Cleveland Indians at Chicago Cubs
If the Cleveland Indians want to win this game, they are going to need to have an elite offensive game. Rookie Eli Morgan is making his third start for the Indians and he is going to be lit up in this game again. Look for the Cubs to run up the score, and win this game on the run line.
Play: Cubs -1.5
Oakland Athletics -145 at Texas Rangers +125 Total: 9
Cole Irvin only has a 3.89 ERA but a 4-7 record overall, and run support has been a big issue in this game. The good news for Irvin in this game is that the A’s are going to give him run support. Jordan Lyles is on the mound for the Rangers ane he sits with a 5.68 ERA. The A"s offense is going to breakout in this game scoring at least six runs. Look for the A’s to win this game on the money line.
Play: A’s ML
San Francisco Giants +100 at Los Angeles Angels -120 Total: 8.5
The San Francisco Giants are one of the biggest surprises in all of baseball currently sitting with a 46-26 record overall. Anthony DeSclafani has been of the big reasons for the success as he sits with a 7-2 record and an ERA of 3.01. The Angels are going to struggle to score again and the Giants will win this game.
Play: Giants ML +100
Milwaukee Brewers -149 at Arizona Diamondbacks +130 Total: 8.5
Heading into Monday night’s game, the Arizona Diamondbacks had lost 17 straight games. In this game, it’s not going to get any better, as the Brewers send Freddy Peralta to the mound who currently sits with a 2-28 ERA. The Brewers are going to give him some run support, and the Brewers will win the game on the run line.
Play: Brewers -1.5
Los Angeles Dodgers at San Diego Padres
Clayton Kershaw has found success against the San Deigo Padres this year sitting with a 1-1 record and an ERA near two. The Padres offense has struggled as of late, and they won’t get the job done in this game. Back the Dodgers on the money line.
Play: Dodgers ML
Colorado Rockies +125 at Seattle Mariners -145 Total: 8
It might be time for the Rockies to give up on the Kyle Freeland experience. Freeland currently sits with an ERA of 9.58 and the Mariners are going to take advantage in this game. Back the Mariners offense to lead them to a win on the run line.
Play: Mariners -1.5
