It’s another full slate of games across the MLB and there is plenty of value across the board in terms of MLB player props. Let’s take a look at the best MLB player props to make your Wednesday a winning one.
Kyle Gibson under 5.5 strikeouts (-113)
Kyle Gibson has pitched well this season, but he isn’t exactly a strikeout pitcher. Each of Gibson’s last three games he has had five strikeouts or less and the max in this game is going to be finishing with five strikeouts. Back Kyle Gibson to finis with under 5.5 strikeouts.
Kris Bryant under 0.5 hits (+115)
Kris Bryant is going to struggle against Yu Darvish in this game. Bryant has been strong heading into this game, but this is a tough matchup for Darvish, and the +115 to not get a hit is too much value to pass up. Back Bryant to finish under 0.5 hits
Pete Alonso over 1.5 hits (+183)
The entire Mets offense is going to find offensive success going against Matt Harvey. Harvey comes into this game with an ERA of 6.62. Two starts ago against the White Sox he gave up five hits and five runs. On Tuesday night Pete Alonso finished with two hits and he is going to have a big game in this one. Alonso to hit a home run at +250 is also worth a look but I would like that line to move to at least +300. If that line does move closer to +300, that is one that I would not pass up.
Chicago Cubs / San Diego Padres Under 0.5 runs in the 1st inning (-105)
The Chicago Cubs and San Diego Padres bats are both going to be ice cold in the first inning of this game. Darvish gets the start for the Cubs and he is going to lock down in this game. The Padres bats have also gotten out to slow starts each of the last few games.
