It’s another full slate of games across the MLB on Tuesday and that means there is plenty of value across the board in terms of making money. Below is a free MLB pick on each of the contests.
Chicago White Sox +130 at Cleveland Indians -149 Total: 7
These two teams played in a doubleheader on Monday so bullpens might be a little tired heading into this game. Both starting pitchers have been strong coming into this game, but I have to take my chances with the underdog in this game. The White Sox are the better offensive team and Dylan Cease currently sits with an ERA under 3.00. Back the White Sox
Play: White Sox ML
Minnesota Twins -175 at Baltimore Orioles +155 Total: 9
The Minnesota Twins have won 16 straight games against the Baltimore Orioles and they are going to get the job done in this game. Michael Pineda gets the start for the Twins and he is going to have no issue locking down an Orioles offense that really struggled again on Monday. Back the Twins to win this game on the run line.
Play: Twins -1.5
Tampa Bay Rays -130 at New York Yankees +110 Total: 7.5
The Yankees are really struggling coming into this game and this isn’t going to be the game they turn it around. The Yankees offense is really struggling and it’s not going to get any better against Tyler Glasnow. Back the Rays to win this game on the money line.
Play: Rays ML
Miami Marlins +140 at Toronto Blue Jays -165 Total: 8.5
The long ball has been an issue for the Toronto Blue Jays pitching staff and that is going to be what is the difference against the Miami Marlins in this game. Look for the Marlins offense to run up the score and for Miami to pull off the upset.
Play: Marlins ML +140
Philadelphia Phillies -110 at Cincinnati Reds -110 Total: 7
The Philadelphia Phillies are a big disappointment again this season and the Phillies are going to have issues again in this game. The Phillies offense is cold, and against Sonny Gray it’s not going to get easier. Back the Reds.
Play: Reds ML
Washington Nationals +120 at Atlanta Braves -140 Total: 8
Stephen Strasburg has found a lot of success against the Atlanta Braves during his career. Strasburg’s last start came in April against the Braves and he gave up only one hit in six innings. The Nationals are going to find a way to pull the upset in a low-scoring game.
Play: Nationals ML +120
Detroit Tigers +139 at Milwaukee Brewers -167 Total: 8
The Brewers were able to win Monday’s game in walkoff fashion. In this game for the Brewers it’s not going to take a walk off, because the Brewers are going to run up the score against Matthew Boyd. Back the Brewers on the run line.
Play: Brewers -1.5
San Diego Padres -115 at Chicago Cubs -105 Total:
Kyle Hendricks is pitching better and he has won three games in a row. In the first game of this series the Cubs were able to win 7-2 and they are going to find run support again in this game. Back the Cubs on the money line.
Play: Cubs ML -105
Boston Red Sox -105 at Houston Astros -115 Total: 9
There was plenty of scoring in the first game of this series, but that won’t be the case in this game. Garrett Richards and Luis Garcia are going to be involved in a pitchers duel and both offenses are going to struggle in this game. Back the under.
Play: Under
Pittsburgh Pirates +153 at Kansas City Royals -183 Total: 9
The Pirates are 3-7 in their last ten games, but there is no chance I am comfortable laying this number with the Royals. Brady SInger hasn’t been great as a starter for the Royals and he is oging to struggle again in this game. Take a chance with the Pirates.
Play: Pirates ML +153
Texas Rangers at Colorado Rockies
The Rockies have a big advantage on the mound and with them being at home, they are going to give him plenty of run support. German Marquez has an ERA of 0.69 over his last two starts and he is going to lock down the Rangers in this game. Look for the Rockies to score at least seven runs, and to win this game on the run line.
Play: Rockies -1.5
New York Mets -122 at Arizona Diamondbacks +101 Total: 8.5
The Mets scored a lot of runs on Saturday, but this is still a team that more often than not has all kinds of issues scoring. In this game look for both teams to struggle and even though this is a lower total, this is way too high. This feels like a 2-1 type of game. Back the under
Play: Under
Los Angeles Angels +140 at San Francisco Giants -165 Total: 7.5
The GIants come into this game hot having won four games in a row and three of those four games have been by at least three runs. Look for the GIants to get another good pitching performance by Alex Wood and for the Giants to win this game on the run line.
Play: Giants -1.5
Oakland Athletics -165 at Seattle Mariners +135 Total: 8
These two teams faced off on Monday and it was the Oakland Athletics that were defeated 6-5. In this game though, it’s going to be the A’s that are going to get some revenge. Marco Gonzales has been an issue all season for the Mariners and he is going to get lit up in a big way in this game. Back the A’s on the run line.
Play: A’s -1.5
St. Louis Cardinals at Los Angeles Dodgers
Runs are going to be very hard to come by in this game with the Cardinals sending John Gant to the mound. In this game look for both teams to struggle to score and for the under to cash with ease. The Dodgers offense is strong, but they are going to struggle against Gant.
