It’s a full slate of games across the MLB on Saturday and that means there is going to be plenty of value across the board in terms of MLB Player Props. Let’s take a look at the best MLB player props for Saturday.
Gerrit Cole O 8.5 Strikeouts (-120)
As long as Gerrit Cole goes deep in the game, he is going to go well over the 8.5 strikeouts. In his last start Cole only went five innings and he still had seven strikeouts. In this game, I expect Cole is going to go deep and that is going to lead to him finishing well over 8.5 strikeouts. Two games ago, Cole had 12 strikeouts and I think he will finish close to that number in this one.
Madison Bumgarner over 5.5 strikeouts (-103)
The only real concern I have with Madison Bumgarner in this start is he did leave his last start early with a groin injury. It appears though he is back to normal and he should find success in this game. Two starts ago against the Marlins, Bumgarner finished with nine strikeouts and he is going to be mowing down the Rockies in this game.
Eduardo Escobar over 1.5 hits (+155)
Antonio Senzatela gets the start for the Rockies and all year he has really struggled. The ball is also going to be flying out of Coors Field and Eduardo Escobar is going to take advantage. On Friday, Escobar finished with two hits against the Rockies and on Thursday against the Los Angeles Dodgers he also finished with two hits. Look for him to finish with at least two hits and at plus money, this is one that can’t be ignored.
Alex Bregman to hit a home run (+600)
Alex Bregman has a juicy matchup going against Jordan Lyles. Jordan Lyles has given up nine home runs on the season and the Astros are going to be hitting the ball all over the ballpark on Saturday. Alex Bregman on the season has hit only five home runs on the season, but he is going to add to that total in this one.
