Every team is in action on Tuesday, May 18th, 2021 in Major League Baseball. With 15 games to choose from, there are plenty of great money-making opportunities, so let's take a look at the games. as well as the free betting picks and odds for each contest.

San Francisco Giants +100 Cincinnati Reds -120 Total: 8.5

The Reds' Luis Castillo has not been consistent enough for me to lay any price on him, even at home. The Giants are in first place in the NL West yet are constantly set as an underdog by oddsmakers. I think this is another opportunity to take the plus money with one of the more profitable teams in baseball.

Pick: San Francisco Giants +100

Miami Marlins TBA Philadelphia Phillies TBA Total: TBA

The Marlins are more than likely going to use a bullpen game on Tuesday, while the Phillies will send right-hander Zack Wheeler to the bump. I think Wheeler and the Phillies are just the better team and play very well at home.

Pick: Philadelphia Phillies ML

Tampa Bay Rays -150 Baltimore Orioles +130 Total: 8.5

The Rays' bats woke up in their series against the Mets and now I think they continue to hit against the Orioles in this series. The Rays' Luis Patino should be able to out-duel the O's Matt Harvey.

Pick: Tampa Bay Rays -150

Boston Red Sox +120 Toronto Blue Jays -140 Total: 9

The Red Sox's Eduardo Rodriguez is 5-1 but has a 4.15 ERA. I think the Blue Jays' Hyun Jin Ryu is plainly the better pitcher, and the Blue Jays have hit very well at home this season. I will take the Jays in this spot.

Pick: Toronto Blue Jays -140

New York Mets +130 Atlanta Braves -150 Total: 8.5

The Mets will use a bullpen game with Miguel Castro as the opener.  I believe the Braves and Tucker Davidson are going to win in the second game of this series. Davidson is one of the Braves' top pitching prospects and I think he excels against a Mets team that is still not hitting as well as it should.

Pick: Atlanta Braves ML

Chicago White Sox -115 Minnesota Twins -105 Total: 8

The Twins have a major pitching problem and even though Minnesota's Michael Pineda has pitched rather well this season, I still cannot back the Twins against Lance Lynn here and the White Sox. Chicago's bats are far too hot for any other play in my opinion.

Pick: Over 8 runs

Washington Nationals -110 Chicago Cubs -110 Total: 9

The Cubs' Zach Davies has struggled ever since his first start of the season and although the Nationals' Patrick Corbin has also underperformed, I think Corbin has the better stuff and upside as well. I like Washington in this one.

Pick: Washington Nationals -110

Pittsburgh Pirates +120 St. Louis Cardinals -140 Total: 7.5

I am going to take a shot with the dog and the Pirates here. The Pirates' JT Brubaker has been a money-maker for bettors this year and I think the Buckos have a shot at pulling off the upset, enough to take the +120 odds.

Pick: Pittsburgh Pirates +120

Milwaukee Brewers -155 Kansas City Royals +135 Total: 7.5

The Brewers' Brandon Woodruff is pitching on another planet right now, so there is no way I can pass him up even on the road. The Royals are pesky but I think Milwaukee earns the victory here.

Pick: Milwaukee Brewers -155

Cleveland Indians +115 Los Angeles Angels -135 Total: 8.5

The Angels' Andrew Heaney does not deserve a -135 price in my opinion, so I will take the younger and more talented starter in Zach Plesac and the Indians here. I like the Indians in the first five innings of this game, as I think Plesac pitches well early.

Pick: Cleveland Indians First 5 Innings

Houston Astros -106 Oakland Athletics -114 Total: 8.5

Two of the better teams in the American League face off in what should be another great installment of this AL West rivalry. I like the Astros' Christian Javier and I think the Houston bats show up against Oakland's Sean Manaea and company.

Pick: Houston Astros -106

Arizona Diamondbacks +220 Los Angeles Dodgers -260 Total: 7

I love fading the Dodgers as much as the next guy but Merrill Kelley has pitched so poorly for the D-Backs this year and I do not think he will be able to compete. The Dodgers' Julio Urias should be able to get the job done for LAD.

Pick: Los Angeles Dodgers -1.5

Colorado Rockies +170 San Diego Padres -200 Total: 7

The Rockies' bats go cold whenever they travel away from Coors Field (ironic). I think this game goes under the total, as both the Rockies' Austin Gomber and the Padres' Blake Snell have great stuff. Do not let their ERAs fool you.

Pick: Under 7 runs

Detroit Tigers +100 Seattle Mariners -120 Total: 8

Both the Tigers and Mariners struggle to score, but I trust Spencer Turnbull and the Tigers a bit more than I do Justin Dunn and the Mariners. At plus money, I think the Tigers are the better play.

Pick: Detroit Tigers +100
