It’s a nice slate of games across the MLB on Thursday with 12 games taking place and there iis plenty of value across the board in terms of player props. Let’s take a look at some of the best MLB players props to make you money.
Ronald Acuna Jr to hit a home run (+400)
Ronald Acuna Jr on the season has hit 11 home runs and he has a juicy matchup against Ross Stripling. Stripling currently sits with a 6.61 ERA on the season and has given up three home runs. Even with Stripling behind a right-handed pitcher, that doesn’t concern me as Stripling has struggled against mostly everyone. Back Ronald Acuna Jr on the money line.
Lance Lynn under 6.5 strikeouts (+112)
With prop bets, value is important, and that is exactly what Lance Lynn offers on Thursday. Lynn is pitching on only four days rest and each of his last two starts he has only gone five innings. With the shorter start, it wouldn’t be shocking if he only goes four innings, and the under 6.5 strikeouts is a lot of value. the twins offense was also strong on Wednesday night so they could chase him early.
Charlie Morton Under 5.5 strikeouts (+105)
Charlie Morton was chased early in his last start, and the Blue Jays could do that again in this game. In his previous two starts, Morton had six strikeouts, but it’s not like he is going out there and striking out 11 or 12 guys a night. Look for Morton to finish with four or five strikeouts, and for the under to cash.
Vladimir Guerrero Jr over 0.5 runs batted in (+168)
Vladimir Guerrero Jr on the season has had 26 runs batted in, and he will add onto that number in this game. Charlie Morton isn’t the same pitcher that he once was and he has been hit hard each of his last three starts. Look for Guerrero to be one of those players that take advantage of Morton’s struggles and that will lead to him finishing with at least one RBI.
