It’s a light slate of games across the MLB on Monday with only six games taking place. Even though it’s a light schedule there are still plenty of prop bets that offer great value to make you money.
Kyle Gibson over 4.5 strikeouts (-130)
I don’t love the odds for this play, but even though they could be better odds, this is still a sold play. Gibson has had at least five strikeouts in three of his last four starts and in his last start he had eight strikeouts against the Minnesota Twins. Look for Gibson to slow down the Giants offense in this game and to finish with at least five strikeouts.
Fernando Tatis Jr over 0.5 runs driven in (+122)
Fernando Tatis Jr and the San Diego Padres have a juicy matchup on Monday night against the Colorado Rockies. Antonio Senzatela hasn’t been lights out this season and so far on the year he has given up 21 runs in 28.2 innings pitched. In the Padres last game, Tatis Jr had a home run and drove in two runs. With the high elevation of Tatis Jr the Padres should be running up the score and Tatis will drive in at least a run.
Fernando Tatis Jr to hit a home run (+450)
Not only is Tatis Jr going to drive in at least one run, one of those is going to come by the long ball. Tatis Jr. on the season has hit nine home runs which ties him for fourth in the Major Leagues. With the way the ball has been flying out of Coors Field this season, Tatis Jr is going to get the job done.
Mitch Keller Under 4.5 strikeouts (+106)
This a bet that is based strictly on value, something that Mitch Keller offers a lot of on Monday night. Mitch Keller has been super inconsistent in terms of his strikeout numbers this season and just two starts against the Kansas City Royals he only had two strikeouts. The Reds offense could very well chase him early, and Keller will finish with under 4.5 strikeouts.
