We have a light schedule in Major League Baseball on Monday, May 10th, 2021, as there are only six games to be played. There are still plenty of great betting opportunities in these games, so here are the odds and free betting picks for Monday's games in the MLB.

Cincinnati Reds -140 Pittsburgh Pirates +120 Total 8

Tyler Mahle is the current probable starter for the Reds after his start was scratched due to inclement weather on Sunday. If he goes for the Reds on Monday I do like Cincinnati to take care of business against the Pirates. The Pirates' Mitch Keller is far too inconsistent to get any of my money here and the Reds' bats and bullpen are far superior.

Pick: Cincinnati Reds -140

Boston Red Sox -150 Baltimore Orioles +130 Total: 9.5

With the Red Sox's Martin Perez and the Orioles' Jorge Lopez on the mound, this game screams over. I do not trust either starter and expect both teams' offenses to be alive and well on Monday evening.

Pick: Over 9.5 runs

Los Angeles Angels +143 Houston Astros -177 Total:

The Houston Astros dominated Angels' starter, Alex Cobb, the last time they saw him, so I am going to ride with Houston again at home here. Luis Garcia may be 0-3 but he does have a 3.28 ERA and has racked up the strikeouts this season. I like Houston.

Pick: Houston Astros -177

San Diego Padres -175 Colorado Rockies +150 Total: 10

Jon Gray of the Colorado Rockies has allowed 14 hits and six earned runs in his last 12.0 innings, and I think he and the Rockies are in trouble on Monday. The Padres' Dinelson Lamet may not go deep into ballgames, but I expect his club to give him plenty of run support all night. I will lay the run line with San Diego.

Pick: San Diego Padres -1.5

Miami Marlins +100 Arizona Diamondbacks -120 Total: 9

The Marlins have not announced an official starting pitcher, but I like their chances either way as it looks like it will be a bullpen game for Miami. The Marlins swept these D-Backs in the first series against Arizona last week, and I think the Marlins win the first game of this road series as the D-Backs' Luke Weaver has struggled badly this season with his 6.07 ERA. (Check back soon for updates to the odds and starting pitcher announcement). UPDATE Jordan Holloway will be the starter for the Marlins, and I think Miami has great value as the road dog.

Pick: Miami Marlins +100

Texas Rangers +125 San Francisco Giants -145 Total: 7

Both team's starters in the Rangers' Kyle Gibson and the Giants' Alex Wood have pitched very well in 2021. I think runs are going to be hard to come by, especially as this game is played in a pitchers' park at Oracle Park. I like the under in this one.

Pick: Under 7 runs
