It’s another loaded slate of games across the Major Leagues on Sunday and with all the games there is plenty of value in player props. Let’s take a look at some of the best player props and their odds for Sunday’s game.
Jacob deGrom under 9.5 strikeouts (-115)
Jacob deGrom is probably the best pitcher in baseball but I don’t expect the Mets to stretch him out in this game. deGrom missed his last start with right lat inflammation and in this game it wouldn’t be shocking for him to only go five or six innings. With the lack of innings, look for deGrom to finish with under 9.5 strikeouts.
German Marquez over 5.5 strikeouts (+115)
When betting prop bets, finding value is most important and this is a bet that offers a whole lot of value. In two of his last four starts, Marquez has finished with at least six strikeouts. A few starts back against the Philadelphia Phillies he had eight strikeouts. The Cardinals are going to struggle in this game and Marquez will finish with at least six strikeouts at plus money.
Aaron Judge Under 0.5 Hits (+155)
Aaron Judge did get a key hit on Saturday, but he still only finished the game with one hit. Marquez is in the middle of a big slump and against Joe Ross he is going to be shutout. Over his last two starts, Ross has given up only three runs total. Aaron Judge is going to finish with zero hits.
Jeimer Candelario to hit a home run +1300
Kenta Maeda has been susceptible to the long ball this season and chances are he is going to give up one or two in this game. Jeimer Candelario on the season has only hit three home runs, but still like my chances at this payout. I also think it would be worth a look at just picking a couple of Tigers hitting sitting at +1300 because one or two of them should cash.
