It’s a lighter slate of MLB games on Monday, but there is still plenty of value in terms of player people that can make you money. Let’s take a look at some of the best MLB player prop bets and their odds.
Justin Turner to hit a home run +450
Justin Turner has six home runs so far this season for the Los Angeles Dodgers but he is going to pick up at least one more in this game. On the mound for the Cubs is Kyle Hendricks and to say he has struggled might be an understatement. So far this season, Hendricks has given up ten home runs including three home runs in his last start against the Atlanta Braves. The Dodgers are going to be hitting some long balls, and I expect Turner to be one of those players.
Alex Kirilloff to hit a home run +500
Alex Kirilloff ran into some bad luck early in the season, but he is mashing the ball the last few games. Over his last three games, he has hit four home runs and they haven’t been lucky ones, he is smashing the ball. Other players on the twins might be more likely to hit one tonight, but I can’t pass up the value with +500.
Kenta Maeda Under 5.5 strikeouts +105
Kenta Maeda hasn’t been as strong this season and only once this season has he finished with more than five strikeouts and that was in his second start of the season. In his last start against the Cleveland Indians, Maeda went 5.2 innings but he only had three strikeouts. Even if he goes five or six innings in this game, I don’t expect he is going to finish with many strikeouts. Back Maeda under 5.5 strikeouts.
German Marquez over 5.5 Strikeouts -110
In three of German Marquez last four starts he has had at least six strikeouts. Two starts ago against the Philadelphia Phillies, Marquez had eight strikeouts and I expect he is going to have a strong outing in this game. Look for Marquez to finish with over 5.5 strikeouts.
