Detroit Tigers +213 at New York Yankees -233 Total: 8.5
Each of the first two games for the Tigers and Yankees in this series have had ten runs scored, and there is no reason to believe they won’t reach this number again in this game. Corey Kluber has been decent this season but he has still given up 13 runs in 24 innings. This total is too low.
Play: Over 7.5
Miami Marlins +132 at Washington Nationals -142 Total: 7
Trevor Rogers isn’t getting talked about enough for what he has done so far this season for the Marlins. Over his last two starts he has gone 13 innings total giving up ten total hits and zero runs. Max Scherzer was lit up in his last game, and the Marlins at a nice price are the play.
Play: Marlins ML +132
St. Louis Cardinals -145 at Pittsburgh Pirates +125 Total: 8.5
After a slow start to the season, Carlos Martinez has finally turned the corn each of his last two starts. Martinez has gone 13.1 innings giving u only three runs total. The Cardinals are going to give him some run support, and that will lead to St, Louis winning this game on the run line.
Play: St. Louis -1.5
Atlanta Braves at Toronto Blue Jays
The Toronto Blue Jays have won the first two games of this series and their offense has been the difference. In the first game of this series the Blue Jays scored 13 runs and it seems this offense is finally starting to really click. In this game though they go against Ian Anderson who has given up only one run toal his last two starts. Back the Braves.
Play; Braves ML
Chicago Cubs +130 at Cincinnati Reds -140 Total: 9
When the Cubs don’t get good offense, they usually don’t have the pitching staff to find success and they aren’t going to get that good pitching in this game. Trevor Williams is going ot give up a few long balls and that will be the difference as the Cubs are defeated. Back the Reds.
Play: Reds ML
Houston Astros at Tampa Bay Rays
Rich Hill isn’t the answer for the Tampa Bay Rays and on the season he has gone 22.1 innings total giving up 18 total runs. The Astros won the first two games of this series and in Game 1 they put up nine runs. The Astros will run up the score and win this game on the money line.
Play: Astros ML
Kansas City Royals +155 at Minnesota Twins -175 Toal: 8.5
The only way the Twins lose this game is they decide to pull Jose Berrios too early. In 26.2 innings so far this season Berrios has given up only nine runs and in his last two starts he has given up only three runs total. The Royals will struggle to score and that will be the difference as the Twins win on the run line.
Play: Twins -1.5
Los Angeles Dodgers at Milwaukee Brewers
Julio Urias has pitched well this season and he has also gotten plenty of run support.Urias comes into this game sitting with a 3-0 record and an ERA of 3.23. The Dodgers offense will once again give him plenty of run support and the Dodgers will win on the run line.
Play: Dodgers -1.5
Boston Red Sox -145 at Texas Rangers +125 Total: 9
Garrett Richards is coming off his best start of the season going seven innings giving up only one run. Mike Foltynewicz also looked good in his last start giving up only one run. There is going to be runs scored, and maybe even six or seven, but this is too many points. Look for this game to stay under nine.
Play: Under 9
Cleveland Indians +145 at Chicago White Sox -158 Total: 7.5
Lucas Giolito has not looked good his last two starts. Two starts ago against the Red Sox he went only one running giving up eight runs. In his last start he gave up three runs. The Indians might not be the sexiest play on the board, but there is a ton of value sitting at +145.
Play: Indians ML +145
Los Angeles Angels -145 at Seattle Mariners +125 Total: 8.5
With Dylan Bundy, he is usually going to go five or six innings and give up two or three runs. In his last start against the Astros he went six innings giving up three hits and two runs. In Justus Sheffield’s lat start he went 5.1 innings giving up 12 hits and five runs. The Angels are going to light up Sheffield and win this game in blowout fashion. Back the Angles -1.5
Play: Angels -1.5
Baltimore Orioles +160 at Oakland Athletics -180 Total: 8.5
The Orioles came away with the win on Saturday 8-4 but this is going ot be am uch lower scoring game. Sean Manaea has been lights out this season and over the last three starts he has given up three runs total. Look for the Orioles to finish with only one or two runs and for the under to cash.
Colorado Rockies +135 at Arizona Diamondbacks -145 Total: 9
Chi Chi Gonzalez has only given up one run in two of his last three starts, and in this game, he is going to lock down. The Rockies scored 14 runs on Saturday and they will give him some run support again in this one.
Play: Rockies +135
San Francisco Giants at San Diego Padres
The Padres have won their first two games of the series and so far during the series they have given up for runs total. The Padres will find the scoring again in this game and that will lead to another win on the run line.
Play: Padres -1.5
New York Mets -110 at Philadelphia Phillies -110 Total: 8.5
The Mets offense finally got going a bit on Saturday scoring five runs, but in this game they are going to go back to their issues scoring in this game. In two of Zach Eflin’s last three starts he has given up two runs or less. The Mets are only going to score a run or two and that will lead to the Phillies getting the job done. Back the Phillies.
Pick: Phillies ML
