The Hanwha Eagles and Kia Tigers face off in KBO baseball action on Wednesday morning in the United States. There will be limited fans in attendance for this game. In the first game of this series the Hanwha Eagles came away with a 3-2 victory.
This is a preview for Game 2 of the doubleheader.
The Hanwha Eagles have had all kinds of issues this season and coming into this game they sit with 39 wins, 84 losses, and two draws. Hanwha currently sits in 10th place in the KBO and they have lost three of the last four games. Over the last four games the Hanwha Eagles offense has really struggled and in this game it’s probably going to take another good pitching performance. Si-hwan Noh has been the best player for the Hanwha Eagles hitting ten home runs. Kwang-min Song has hit eight home runs and driven in 33 RBI’s.
On the other side of this matchup is the Kia Tigers who comes into this game with 64 wins and 58 losses which puts them in sixth place of the KBO. Coming into this game the Kia Tigers have lost four games in a row and over the last three games Kia’s offense has really struggled scoring only eight runs total. Preston Tucker has been the best offensive player for hitting 29 home runs and driving in 95 RBI’s. Hyung-woo Choi has also hit 19 home runs and driven in 86 RBI’s.
There have been no starting pitchers announced for this game.
The Hanwha Eagles looked good in Game 1 of this series and that is going to continue in this game. Look for the Kia Tigers offense to struggle to score again and that will lead to Hanwha coming away with a victory. Depending on the odds if they are big underdogs Hanwha +1.5 could also be a play.
