The Samsung Lions vs. Kia Tigers face off in KBO baseball action on Tuesday morning in the United States.
The Samsung Lions sit with 43 wins, 51 losses, and one draw which puts them in eighth place of the KBO standings. In the last week the Lions lost three of their five games, and the offense has been a big issue for the squad. In their last two losses the Samsung Lions only scored two runs total. Min-ho Kang has been the best player for the Samsung Lions hitting 14 home runs and driving in 39 RBI’s. Dong-yeop Kim has also hit 10 home runs and driving in 36 RBI’s.
On the other side of this matchup is the Kia Tigers who come into this game with 48 wins and 45 losses which puts them in seventh place of the KBO.Coming into this game the Tigers offense has been strong and that has led to them winning two of the last three games. In the two wins the Tigers scored 18 runs total and even in the loss they put up five runs. The best offensive plater for the Tigers has been Preston Tucker who has hit 24 home runs and driven in 72 RBI’s. Ji-wan Na has also been strong hitting 13 home runs and driving in 69 RBI’s.
Chae-heung Choi will get the start for the Samsung Lions and he comes into this game with a 6-4 record and an ERA of 4.30. Aaron Brooks will get the start for the Kia Tigers and coming into this game he has a 7-4 record and an ERA of 2.85.
The weather in this game is expected to be humid and overcast with a slight wind blowing in from center field.
Aaron Brooks has been lights out this year and that will continue in this game. Look for the Kia Tigers to have no issue winning this game on the run line.
