The Line: -- Over/Under:
The Kiwoom Heroes and Hanwha Eagles face off in KBO baseball action on Wednesday morning in the United States. Like the other games so far this season, there will be no fans in attendance for this game. In the first game of this series the Kiwoom Heroes offense was elite putting up 15 runs on the way to a 12 run victory.
The Hanwha Eagles have really struggled this season and coming into this game they have lost nine games in a row. Overall this season the Hanwha Eagles have won seven of their 26 games. In seven of their last ninet losses, they have scored four runs or less, and that offense is going to need to be better if they want to a chance to turn around their season. The pitching staff also can’t be giving up double digit runs.
One of the big issues for the Hanwha Eagles is they aren’t a great power-hitting team. It might be difficult to do but three or four home runs would be very helpful in this game.
The Kiwoom Heroes moved back up to above .500 with a win in their last game over the Hanwha Eagles. Overall, the Kiwoom Heroes have won three of their last four games and in each of the last two wins they have scored at least 14 runs.
On offense the Kiwoom Heroes are led by Dong-won Park who has hit six home runs and 21 RBI’s so far this season. Byung-ho Park has also hit five home runs and driving in 12 RBI’s. In this game, if the Heroes can make this a high scoring game, they will probably come away with a victory.
Young-gun Jo will get the start for the Kiwoom Heroes while Warwick Saupold will get the start for the Hanwha Eagles.
Jo has pitched only one inning not giving up a run, while Saupold currently sits with a 2-2 record and an ERA of 2.65. The weather in this game is expected to be partly cloudy with six to seven mile per hour winds blowing
The Hanwha Eagles have been terrible and there is no reason to believe it’s going to be any different in this game. Look for the Kiwoom Heroes to run up the score and that will be the difference as they win this game on the run line.
