The Line: Samsung Lions +100 / KT Wiz Suwon -130 -- Over/Under: 10.5
The Samsung Lions vs. KT Wiz Suwon face off in a KBO baseball showdown early on Saturday morning for everyone in the United States. Like the games before this one, there will be no fans in the game for this showdown. In the first game of this series the KT Wiz Suwon knocked off the Samsung Lions 14-6.
The KT Wiz Suwon have had some major struggles this season, but they are coming off a win in their last game against the Samsung Lions. On the season KT Wiz Suwon has won only two of their seven games so far.
The biggest issue for KT Wiz Suwon has been their inconsistency on the field, and they have had a hard time getting good pitching, and good hitting in the same game. The offense is led by Baek-ho Kang who has hit three home runs and driven in seven RBI’s. Kyung-soo Park has also hit two home runs and driven in seven runs.
The Samsung Lions have won two of the last three games, with a loss in their last game being the downfall. On the season the Samsung Lions have won four games and lost six games.
Each of the last three games, the Samsung Lions have scored at least five runs, and the offense is going to need to be better in this game. On offense the Lions are led by Sung’gyu Lee who has hit two home runs and seven RBI’s. Won-seok Lee also added two home runs and six RBI’s.
Sung-hwan Yoon will be on the mound for the Samsung Lions while Min Kim will get the nod for KT Wiz Suwon. Yoon will be making his first start of the season, while Kim has made one start and currently sits with an ERA of 15.75.
The weather in this game is expected to be overcast with a slight wind blowing from 3rd base to 1st base at four MPH.
Kim struggled in his first start and that will continue in this game. Look for the Lions to run up the score and that will be enough to win this game on the run line.
