The Line: KIA Tigers -160 / Hanwha Eagles +130 -- Over/Under: 8.5
The Kia Tigers and Hanwha Eagles face off in a KBO baseball showdown early on Tuesday morning for everyone in the United States. Everyone has a week of baseball on their belt, so we are getting a better feel on these teams.
The Kia Tigers have had some struggles to start the season losing four of their six games, but they are coming off a win in their last game. Heading into the last game, the Tigers had only scored 12 runs total, but in the last game the offense was elite putting up 12 runs.
In the Tigers last game it was Preston Tucker who was the star of the show putting up five hits, two home runs, and driving in six RBI’s. Overall this season Tucker has three home runs and has driven in 11 runs.
The Hanwha Eagles have also struggled to start the season losing four of their first six games. The pitching staff hasn’t been great for Hanwha, but the biggest issue has been with the offense getting enough done. In the last three games against the Kiwoom Heroes they scored only three runs in each of the three games. Only one time this season have the Eagles managed to score more than three runs.
Kwang-min Song has been one of the other bright spots for the Eagles who has two home runs and four RBI’s.
Aaron Brooks is scheduled to be on the mound for the Kia Tigers while Min-woo Kim is projected to be on the mound for the Hanwha Eagles. Brooks was good in his first start giving up only one run, but Kim struggled and comes into this game with an ERA of 6.23.
The weather should be clear for this game but there is expected to be at least 10 MPH winds blowing out towards center field.
The Tigers have the pitching advantage in this game with Brooks and that will be the difference. In this game. Look for Brooks to lock down and that will be enough for the Kia Tigers to win a game on the run line that covers the under.
