This Thursday, the PGA Tour presents the first round of the 2024 Sony Open. 

The 2024 Sony Open will be played at the Waialae Country Club in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Before I dive into my favorite tournament prop bets for the 2024 Sony Open let's take a look at the top ten golfers in driving accuracy on the PGA Tour that are in this week's tournament field.

Top Ten Golfers in Driving Accuracy

Now that we have identified who the current top ten golfers in driving accuracy are on the PGA Tour (in this week's field) let's shift our focus to my favorite tournament prop bets for the 2024 Sony Open.

Top Canadian: Corey Conners +200

Corey Conners has accumulated three top 26 finishes in his last five tournaments played on the PGA Tour, including a sixth-place result at the 2023 FedEx St. Jude Championship in August.

In relation to this week's current listed 2024 Sony Open field, in the last 50 rounds played on the PGA Tour, Correy Conners ranks seventh in strokes gained off the tee, fourth in strokes gained approach, first in strokes gained tee to green, and first in strokes gained ball striking.

Corey Conners also finished 12th at the 2023 Sony Open.   

Top Englishman: Justin Rose +750

Last week, after getting off to a slow start in the event, Justin Rose fired an impressive final round 61 at the 2024 Sentry. Additionally, it should be noted that Justin Rose has played well at this event previously. Justin Rose finished second at the 2017 Sony Open.

In summary, I am backing Justin Rose to post the best finish among all English golfers in the field at odds of +750. I have to say that I am thrilled to get odds of +750. In my opinion, +750 is outstanding value.
