This week, the DP World Tour presents the first event of the season, the 2024 Dubai Invitational.

The 2024 Dubai Invitational will be played at the Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club. The golf course is a par 71 that measures approximately 7,059 yards. 

Before we dive into my favorite tournament matchup bets for the 2024 Dubai Invitational let's take a quick look at the top five golfers in overall scoring average on the DP World Tour (in this week's field) and the key player statistics that I feel are the most important to a golfer's success at this week's event.

Top Five Golfers in Scoring Average

  • Grant Forrest 69.13
  • Adrian Meronk 69.50
  • Richard Mansell 69.51

  • Antoine Rozner 70.50   

    • The key player statistics that I will be focusing on this week are GIR (greens in regulation), strokes gained around the green, and strokes gained approach.  

    Now that we have determined who the top five golfers in overall scoring average are on the DP World Tour and identified what key player statistics that I feel are the most important to a golfer's success this week let's shift our focus to my favorite tournament matchup bets for the 2024 Dubai International.  

    Antoine Rozner -115 over Zander Lombard

    Antoine Rozner has accumulated two top 15 finishes in his last three tournaments played on the DP World Tour, including an 11th place result at the 2023 DP World Championship in December.

    Richard Mansell -115 over Tom McKibbin

    The talented young Englishman has accumulated four top 22 finishes in his last six events played on the DP World Tour, including a third-place result at the 2023 Andalucia Masters in October.

    Adrian Meronk -120 over Ryan Fox

    Adrian Meronk arrives at this week's season opening event in rather good form. More specifically, Adrian Meronk has accumulated three top 15 finishes in his last five tournaments played on the DP World Tour, including a win at the 2023 Andalucia Masters.
