Nevertheless, Keider Montero's performance this season has been subpar. While Darvish remains an unknown factor, the Padres are currently performing well and are regaining their health. The return of both Darvish and Fernando Tatis Jr. is likely to significantly boost the Padres' confidence. With two All-Stars rejoining a playoff-caliber team, the atmosphere in San Diego is undoubtedly positive. I am going with the Padres.

Seattle Mariners vs Oakland Athletics Prediction MLB Picks 9/4/24
