I am backing the Nationals in this matchup. Washington is expected to receive a strong performance from Corbin. In his previous three starts, Corbin has achieved a record of 2-0, allowing three earned runs over a total of 16.1 innings. Conversely, Meyer has struggled recently, yielding a total of 10 earned runs in 15.0 innings, resulting in an 0-2 record. Although Washington did not perform well against the Cubs in their last series, conceding 26 runs over three games while scoring only four in the last two, Corbin is likely to fulfill his role effectively. The outcome will depend on the performance of the hitters and the bullpen thereafter.

Meanwhile, Gray recently secured a victory against the Padres, allowing one earned run over 6.0 innings. On Monday, the Brewers managed a modest total of seven hits, but their eight walks significantly compensated for this. Milwaukee required only a few strong innings to overcome the Cardinals. I have confidence that the Brewers will replicate their solid performance on Tuesday.

Although Chicago's winning streak came to an end on Monday, they have demonstrated strong performance over the past two weeks. Skenes is in a way better form than Hendricks, so I'll go with the Pirates here.

Rodon has a 5.27 ERA and a .274 allowed batting average in 82 road innings. Rodon is 2-1 with a 3.96 ERA and 38 strikeouts in his career against the Texas Rangers.

At this point, the Rangers have little motivation to compete, while the Yankees are striving for the top record in Major League Baseball. Although the price remains high, I would prefer to take the run line to reduce some of that vig.
LA Dodgers vs LA Angels Prediction MLB Picks 9/3/24

Detmers struggled in his last appearance for the Angels and is anticipated to face early challenges once more. Consequently, this game is projected to yield a substantial number of runs, making the Over a favorable bet.

Ginn is relatively inexperienced, as he is making only his second start in his career. However, it is noteworthy that the Oakland Athletics have recently found their offensive rhythm, making the favorable odds for them quite appealing. I am hesitant to support the Mariners as favorites, given their inconsistency in scoring and the significant lead they have squandered in the division. The Mariners appear to be in a precarious position. I would prefer to back the Athletics for better value.
Arizona Diamondbacks vs San Francisco Giants Prediction MLB Picks 9/3/24

On the other hand, the Arizona Diamondbacks are in need of a strong performance as they compete for a favorable position in the wild card race. Additionally, Ryne Nelson has shown promise with a solid performance in August. I predict the Diamondbacks will prevail in the first game against the Giants.
