Hi Everyone!
Hope everyone is having a great Thursday!
DraftKings has some MLB action for the afternoon as we have a two-game slate that starts at 3:10pm! Please note that both games are scheduled for just 7 innings!
There looks like there might be some light rain in the PIT/STL game, but as of right now, I don’t think there is much we have to worry about.
On the mound we are going to be going with Dinelson Lamet of the San Diego Padres and Kwang-Hyun Kim of the St. Louis Cardinals.
Being a limited slate with just two games, I do not think you can afford to get cute and not pay up for Dinelson Lamet who has by far the biggest upside of any pitcher this afternoon.
As I trust the St. Louis offense more than I do Pittsburgh’s and for the fact that I think Kuhl will have the 2nd highest ownership percentage of the four pitchers available, I like going with Kwang-Hyun Kim and our 2nd spot after him coming off an impressive performance against the Cincinnati Reds (6.0 IP, 3 H, 0 ER, 0 BB, 3 K).
As for our offense, we are basically loading up on the Padres and Cardinals while also getting Austin Nola in at the catcher’s position.
Let us take a look at our DraftKings Lineup:
P: Dinelson Lamet
P: Kwang-Hyun Kim
C: Austin Nola
1B: Paul Goldschmidt
2B: Jake Cronenworth
3B: Manny Machado
SS: Fernando Tatis Jr.
OF: Wil Myers
OF: Tyler O’Neill
OF: Dylan Carlson
