Hi Everyone!
Hope everyone has enjoyed their Monday.
Our “Round 1” lineup couldn’t get the job done today as although we were all over Andrew Funk and his impressive -9 performance, the rest of the squad struggled today.
Let’s bounce back tomorrow as we take a look at our DraftKings DFS golf lineup for Round 2 of the Lone Tree Classic which starts at 9:30am tomorrow.
If this is your first time playing one of the Outlaw Tour’s contest on DraftKings, please note that contests are done on a round-by-round basis. This lineup will be just for their performances in Round 2.
I’m kicking myself for not taking Sahith Theegala in Round 1, instead opting for Mark Baldwin. Baldwin started hot with back-to-back birdies but did nothing much the rest of way while Theegala tore up the course. Theegala had a decorated career at Pepperdine and certainly has PGA talent. It should be a rule in these “Outlaw Tour” events that if you can get PGA talent in your roster, you should do so! I expected a bit of rust from Theegala after not teeing it up for a while, but the rust only lasted a few holes and at one point Theegala went -6 over a five hole span. I’m not going to make the same mistake in round 2 as Theegala will be in my lineup!
I’m sticking with Andrew Funk who although I don’t think will repeat a -9 performance, I still think he is too hard to pass up at a reasonable $9,200 price-point.
Trevor Lampson might just be an amateur, however, the kid has a bunch of talent and in this field, certainly can stay atop the leaderboard. Lampson will be a popular play, but is solid at just $8,200.
Rounding out our team, we’re paying a mid-range price for Daniel Hudson while hoping that value plays in Marty Sanchez & Jino Sohn can continue their solid play from Round 1.
This is a cash lineup, however, I still will throw it into a GPP or two just in case it goes off for a big day!
