DFS - NBA - FanDuel - Main Slate Lineup - 10/24/19
Thursday, October 24th, 2019
Hope everyone is having a great Thursday.
The NBA season is back and let’s take a look at tonight’s FanDuel “Main Slate” lineup that features three games and starts at 7:00pm.
Although it’s a small slate, we have a bunch of the NBA’s best stars going tonight.
I imagine we’re going to see a pretty high ownership rate on Andre Drummond and although I know it’s a risk fading him, I’m just a bit concerned with the fact that he is on the 2nd half of a back-to-back after logging 40 minutes last night. I think there is opportunity to separate our team with fading him and I’m going to take this chance tonight.
For our high-priced players, we’re going to go with Stephen Curry & James Harden.
Curry is going to be able to put MVP numbers this season with both Kevin Durant & Klay Thompson out of the picture. Curry will have to go against Patrick Beverley, which is tough, but he is going to have a ton of usage tonight and all season and I like his upside tonight at home.
Harden will have another superstar in the backcourt in Russel Westbrook now, but based off the pre-season, Harden looks poised to put up big numbers once again after putting up a 40-point, 10 rebound, & 7 assist performance agianst San Antonio in the preseason. Houston will need a monster game out of Harden if they’re going to defeat the Bucks and I’m ok paying up for him tonight.
As we’re not going with Andre Drummond, we were able to get some solid mid-tier players in Golden State’s, Draymond Green and the Los Angeles Clippers Lou Williams & Montrezl Harrell.
Green should have more involvement in the offense this season and I wouldn’t be shocked to see him put up a triple-double tonight.
Lou Williams & Montrezl Harrell saw 36 & 38 minutes respectively in their season opener against the Lakers and if they are going to see that type of run while Paul George is out, I think they can easily hit 5x value at their $6,900 & $7,000 price tags.
We need some value the rest of the way and we’re going with the Clippers Landry Shamet, the Pistons Luke Kennard (who isn’t going to go for 30 points again but should still see plenty of time to hit value), the Hawks DeAndre’ Bembry, and the Warriors Marquese Chriss.
