DFS - NHL - FanDuel - Main Slate Lineup - 10/18/19

We got a solid NHL 6-game slate tonight and let’s take a look at our NHL Fanduel “Main Slate” lineup that starts at 7:00pm tonight!
Leading off our team tonight, we’re going out to Edmonton as we’re paying up for a big 4-man stack of Oilers in their match-up against the Detroit Red Wings that ranks 27th in goals allowed per game (3.71).
We’re paying up for their two stars in Connor McDavid & Leon Draisalti while also going with solid mid-tier values in James Neal & Oscar Klefbom.
The Oilers are averaging 5 goals/game at home this season and I think they hit that total tonight.
Staying in this match-up, we’re going to go with the talented Anthony Mantha of the Red Wings. Mantha is averaging 4 shots per game and has been outstanding to start the season, averaging 22.78 FanDuel points/game.
With all the money we’ve spend in the DET/EDM match-up, we need some value the rest of the way and it starts with Pierre-Luck Dubois of the Columbus Blue Jackets. Dubois didn’t have a great game in his recent match-up against the Stars, however, he did react double-digit points in his previous three games and as he is seeing about 20 minutes of ice time per game, I like the value he brings at $5,000 in a decent match-up agianst the Blackhawks.
For some value, we’re sticking with the Blue Jackets and going with defenseman Ryan Murray and going back to Pittsburgh’s Sam Lafferty.
In the net, we’re going to take a chance with Petr Mrazek who although has a tough match-up on the road against Anaheim, comes into this game undefeated on the season (4-0) and is coming off a 31 save shutout against the Los Angeles Kings.
