UCF Knights Betting Preview
The Knights have gotten through five games so far this year and they’ve been able to maintain a winning record. UCF took out Bethune-Cookman 73-6 in their opener then fell to Pittsburgh 12-7 in game two. Game three was another win, this time 44-30 versus Georgia State. Ditto for game four: that one was a 21-13 victory versus TCU for a 3-1 start to the year for UCF.
In the Houston game last weekend the Knights built up a 10-0 lead by the break and added a third-quarter touchdown for a 17-0 edge. Unfortunately UCF didn’t score after that though, and ended up on the wrong end of a 24-17 comeback. QB Keyone Jenkins was 23-of-35 for 253 yards, one TD and one interception. Duke Watson rushed nine times for 50 yards in the defeat.
Oklahoma State Cowboys Betting Preview
Over on the Oklahoma State side, they have only played four games so far this year. The Cowboys got off to a rocky start in their opener with a 24-10 loss to Tulsa. It’s been all wins since then, though. Oklahoma State took out Oregon 39-31 in game two then followed that up with a 59-0 blowout-shutout victory over Murray State to keep it going.
Back on September 26 versus West Virginia, the Cowboys gave up a couple of touchdowns in the first half and had a tight game 14-13. After the break Oklahoma State was down 24-21 at one point but rallied back for a 41-24 win in the end. QB Drew Mestemaker was 20-of-27 for 389 yards, three scores and a pick. Tops in rushing was Caleb Hawkins with 31 totes for 180 yards and a TD.

UCF vs Oklahoma State Prediction
I’ll lean toward Oklahoma State. That said, this should be a fun matchup. The Cowboys made some mistakes in their win over West Virginia, namely the 2-of-10 on third downs and the nine team penalties for 88 yards. Oklahoma State gained 609 yards of offense though, including 220 rushing yards. With an extra week to rest and prepare, the Cowboys will be dangerous here.
As for UCF, they hit the wall in the third quarter versus Houston. The Knights eventually gained just 13 first downs with a 4-of-14 success rate on third-down tries. Given the Cougars’ talent level it’s not surprising that they came back and won but it is disappointing if you’re UCF. They’ve got another tough one here.
