Texas A&M Aggies Betting Preview

The Texas A&M Aggies enter Saturday’s matchup with a 3-2 overall win-loss record (3-1 record at home, 0-1 mark on the road), including victories over Missouri State, Arizona State and Arkansas, while dropping games to Kentucky and the LSU Tigers.

The Texas A&M offense has been rather pedestrian through five games played in 2026. The Aggies are averaging 31.8 points per game while producing 356.2 total yards per contest. Texas A&M has accumulated 188.8 passing yards and 167.4 rushing yards per game.

Shifting our focus to the defensive side of the football, Texas A&M has allowed 18.6 points per game (30th in FBS) while surrendering 312.8 total yards per contest which ranks 29th in the country. Examining the data just presented more closely, the Aggies defense has been excellent on third down, allowing opponents to convert only 26.4% of the time which ranks 11th in the nation.

Through five games played in 2026, quarterback Marcel Reed has compiled 908 passing yards and six passing touchdowns. Running back Rueben Owens has amassed 291 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown. Talented wide receiver Isaiah Horton has been a major contributor in the receiving department, accumulating 17 receptions, 248 receiving yards and three receiving touchdowns.

Missouri Tigers Betting Preview

The Missouri Tigers enter Saturday’s contest with a 4-1 record (3-0 record at home, 0-1 mark on the road) amassing victories over Arkansas-Pine Bluff, Kansas, Troy and Florida, while losing to the Mississippi State Bulldogs.

The Missouri offense has been impressive in 2026. Let’s dive into the Missouri Tigers relevant team data to better shed light on my previous statement. The Tigers are averaging 37.6 points per game while generating 447 total yards per contest, including 278.4 passing yards and 168.6 rushing yards per game.

Defensively, Missouri has allowed 20 points per game through five contests this season. The Tigers have been particularly effective against the run, surrendering only 88.8 rushing yards per game which ranks 13th in the country.

Texas A&M Aggies vs. Missouri Tigers Prediction

In my opinion, this matchup favors the Missouri Tigers. Why? Missouri enters this game with the more explosive offense, averaging 37.6 points and 447 total yards per game. Additionally, Missouri signal caller Austin Simmons has performed at a high level in 2026, compiling 1,287 passing yards and 13 passing touchdowns in five games played this season. Texas A&M’s defense is certainly capable of keeping the game competitive, but the Aggies have struggled offensively against quality opponents. Having stated that, I am backing the Missouri Tigers on the moneyline in this game.
