The Lions didn’t play well against Wisconsin in their loss last weekend, posting just 12 first downs and 3.6 yards per play alongside 114 pass yards. The defense held the Badgers to 4-of-15 on third-down tries along with three picks. Not even Wisconsin’s nine penalties for 52 yards could stop the defeat, though.

As for Northwestern, they played admirably versus Indiana in their latest loss but couldn’t match up in the end. The Wildcats generated 325 total yards with 5.7 yards per play and 21 first downs, but did go just 4-of-11 on third-down tries. The nine team penalties didn’t help either. This will be another tricky matchup; I could see Northwestern being competitive here as well though.
