Arkansas vs Auburn Prediction
I’ll lean toward Auburn but this one’s a coin flip. The Tigers were able to hang around with a great Ole Miss team for quite a while last weekend, posting 312 total yards and 24 first downs. Auburn did have a couple of lost fumbles though, and the defense gave up 487 yards with 31 first downs and a scorching 13-of-16 success rate on third downs. That makes three losses in the last four games for Auburn, but two of those defeats were on the road against ranked teams.
As for Arkansas, they had four turnovers (three fumbles) in their loss to Missouri on Saturday, which killed any kind of momentum the team attempted to gather. The defense came up with 18 first downs and 288 total yards while Arkansas gave up 22 first downs and 390 yards on the other side. The Razorbacks have another tricky matchup on the road this weekend before finishing on a tough three-game stretch versus South Carolina, Texas and LSU.
