Wyoming Cowboys Betting Preview
Back on January 6, the Cowboys held a reasonable 11-4 record through 15 outings. Wyoming has hit the skids since then however, losing to Nevada, San Diego State, Fresno State, Boise State, Utah State, San Diego State and Utah State again with wins over San Jose State and Colorado State otherwise. In the first 24 outings of the year that gives Wyoming a 13-11 record.
Last weekend versus Utah State, the Cowboys entered the second half sporting a four-point deficit 39-35. Wyoming came back on a 48-46 run the rest of the way but it wasn’t enough to make the comeback in an 85-83 loss on their home court. Tops in scoring during the losing effort for the Cowboys was Damarion Dennis with 20 points, six rebounds and three assists.
Colorado State Rams Betting Preview
Over on the Rams’ side, they went 9-2 over their first 11 games. Colorado State lost to Utah State, Nevada, New Mexico, Fresno State, Boise State, Utah State, San Diego State and Wyoming in the next 11 outings, though. After wins over San Jose State and Air Force in their last pair, Colorado State is currently sporting a 14-10 overall record in the books this year.
Matched up against Air Force on Tuesday the Rams were sitting in the locker room on a 47-39 advantage. Colorado State kept it going from there on a 44-35 stretch and eventually took the win on the road 91-74. The Rams’ Brandon Rechsteiner put up 14 points with four assists and two rebounds in the victory, while Kyle Jorgensen added 13 points with three assists.

Wyoming vs Colorado State Prediction
I’ll just stick with Wyoming but it’s a coin flip. The Cowboys didn’t have enough gas to keep pace with Utah State in their latest loss last weekend, especially after giving up a whopping 64.4 percent from the field on defense. Wyoming shot 45.3 percent from the field themselves alongside 87.5 percent (14-of-16) at the line, but got outscored pretty badly 46-30 in the paint. The Cowboys have won just two of their last nine games, and they’ve scored fewer than 69 points in seven of their last eight.
These teams last met up back on January 31 in a 68-57 home win for the Cowboys. In that one Wyoming shot 44.2 percent from the field with a 29-26 rebounding edge and just 39.7 percent shooting surrendered on defense. The Cowboys got blasted 36-14 in the paint however. This road rematch should be a pretty competitive affair but I think Wyoming can pull it off if all goes well.
