Queens vs Winthrop Prediction

In this Queens vs Winthrop Prediction, Queens is coming as -2 point favorites. Winthrop is coming off an excellent season, where they had a top-25 offense in the country but struggled to cover the spread, with a 12-19 ATS record. Queens had a slightly better offense, cracking the top-20 of the nation in points scored, but were also bad against the spread with a 15-18 ATS record. They were 22-11 to the over last season and both teams averaged 168.1 points per game last season, while two of their last three head-to-head meetings have gone over the total and Winthrop having won all four meetings against Queens. Queens is projected as #219 for the upcoming College Basketball Season. Coming off its first NCAA Tournament appearance, Queens returns key contributors Nasir Mann, Jordan Watford and Avantae Parker, giving Grant Leonard’s squad a strong foundation to compete for another ASUN title and build on last season’s breakthrough. Winthrop is projected as #273 for the upcoming College Basketball Season. After losing over 90% of its playing minutes from last season, Mark Prosser’s squad has brought in a large group of transfers, including former Big South Freshman of the Year Spence Sims, while retaining Seifeldin Hendawy, giving the Eagles enough shooting and backcourt depth to compete for a conference title despite significant roster turnover.  This looks like a coinflip and I will side with the team that has the home court advantage. Take Winthrop and grab the +2 points.
