Wichita State vs Oklahoma State Prediction
I’ll lean toward Oklahoma State but this one’s a coin flip. The Cowboys had a rough first half in the Davidson game but to their credit they got it going from there. Oklahoma State eventually posted 50 percent shooting with a 36-28 rebounding advantage and a 40-28 edge on points in the paint. The last time the Cowboys won consecutive games was back in late January/early February. They’re just 4-8 since then, but to their credit OK State has played some tough teams in that time.
As for Wichita State, they shot just 27.8 percent from outside (5-of-18) and 56.5 percent (13-of-23) from the line in their win over Wyoming, adding 14 turnovers for 20 Cowboys points along the way. The Shockers had a 49-31 rebounding edge though, and held Wyoming to just 38.5 percent shooting on defense. Wichita State is 8-1 in their last nine games and could easily take a victory/cover in this one. It’ll be a fun matchup to watch.
