Wake Forest Demon Deacons Betting Preview
Wake Forest managed to lose only three of the opening 12 outings to Michigan, Texas Tech and Oklahoma. After that came losses to Vanderbilt, NC State, Miami, North Carolina, SMU, Duke, Pittsburgh and NC State (with wins over Virginia Tech and Florida State) in the next 10, then another loss to Louisville.
On Saturday in the Louisville game, the Demon Deacons were sitting in the locker room at the break with a 43-34 deficit. Wake Forest got slightly better after halftime with a 46-45 run but didn’t get close to the comeback in an 88-80 loss on their home floor. Leading the team was Juke Harris with 25 points, 11 rebounds and three assists. Omaha Biliew added 14 points with three rebounds in 14 minutes.
Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets Betting Preview
Over on the Yellow Jackets’ side, they managed a 10-5 run over their first 15 games. Georgia Tech took a bad 1-7 stretch over the next eight games though, losing to Syracuse, Miami, Pitt, Clemson, Virginia Tech, North Carolina and California. Another loss to Stanford came next, which gives the Yellow Jackets an 11-13 record in the books over their first 24 games.
Matched up against Stanford last weekend, the Yellow Jackets were trailing at the half by a margin of 43-39. Georgia Tech didn’t end up getting any closer than that on a 52-33 run the rest of the way and took the loss on the road 95-72. Akai Fleming had 19 points with three rebounds in the defeat, and Baye Ndongo had 14 points with six rebounds and two assists.

Wake Forest vs Georgia Tech Prediction
I’ll lean toward Georgia Tech but you could argue it either way. The Yellow Jackets are coming off a bad loss to a pretty decent Stanford team, shooting 43.1 percent from the field with a 35-25 rebounding deficit and 12 turnovers. Georgia Tech gave up 54.1 percent shooting on defense as well. The Jackets have lost five straight games (three on the road), giving up 90 or more points in each of the last trio.
As for Wake Forest, they shot 42.9 percent from the floor in their loss to Louisville last weekend while giving up 52.9 percent on the other side. The Demon Deacons have also lost five straight games, giving up 80 more points in all of them. This game could break a lot of different ways, but I like a high total.
