It wasn’t perfect though, as LA Tech had 16 turnovers and missed a few free throws (13-of-19 for 68.4 percent). The Bulldogs have 89 or more points in two of the last four but they’ve also been below 66 points in the other pair during that quartet (a 3-1 run).
As for UTEP, they beat a pretty good North Dakota State team in their last game thanks to 47.3 percent shooting and 27 rebounds. The Miners notched 12 steals off 16 Bison turnovers as well. UTEP has a combined 147 points in their last pair but prior to that they’d finished below 69 points in four straight (all losses).
