Tennessee-Martin Skyhawks Betting Preview
This year in their opener versus UNLV, the Skyhawks entered halftime with a 43-39 deficit. Tennessee-Martin surged from there on a 47-38 run however, and powered out a comeback win 86-81. Leading the way in the winning effort were Dragos Lungu (five rebounds; two assists) and Andrija Burkumirovic (four rebounds), each with 23 points. Matas Deniusas added 11 points with six rebounds and three assists. Tennessee-Martin matched up against Kentucky Christian in their second game and it was a pretty easy win. All 13 of TN-Martin’s players who hit the floor managed to score as the team cruised to a 97-42 blowout victory in the end. The Skyhawks managed to lead for 37:50 of game time and held Kentucky Christian to just 28.3 percent shooting. Andrija Bukumirovic led TN-Martin on a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds.
Last Wednesday versus Bradley, Tennessee-Martin posted another victory. The Skyhawks trailed by two points at halftime though, and had to fight back with 44 second-half points in a 78-67 comeback victory. Both Andrija Bukumirovic (six rebounds) and Matas Deniusas (seven rebounds) had 20 points apiece to lead the team. Florida State Seminoles Betting Preview
Over on the FSU side, they kicked things off with a matchup versus Alcorn State. The Seminoles scored 58 points in the first half and 50 more in the second during that matchup, cruising to a 108-76 win. Chauncey Wiggins topped the scorers on 22 points and five boards while Robert McCray doubled up on 12 points, 17 assists and four boards. Tennessee-Martin vs Florida State Prediction
I’ll take a stab on TN-Martin here. The Skyhawks have looked pretty good through three games so far, but there are a few things to clean up following their win over Bradley—namely the 22 turnovers and tepid 11-of-17 (64.7 percent) result from the line. Otherwise the Skyhawks did a pretty good job in their latest win. That makes 78 or more points in all three games so far for TN-Martin, but going up against Florida State in a road game is going to be their toughest matchup of the early-season slate by a fairly significant margin. The Seminoles are coming off a tough loss to a very good Florida team and FSU will be looking to take out their frustrations on the visiting Skyhawks squad. It’s going to be a tough matchup for TN-Martin.
