UNC-Greensboro vs. VMI Prediction
I’m leaning towards UNC Greensboro here. I have to give VMI some credit because they’ve actually been playing fairly well. But the problem for VMI here is that I don’t know where their points are going to come from UNC Greensboro is one of the best defensive units in the conference and there are very few things offensively that VMI actually does well on a consistent basis. VMI relies on free throws to do a lot of their damage on the scoreboard and the Spartans are one of the best teams in the conference in not allowing free throws. VMI still has a ton of problems on the defensive end of the floor and I don’t see those problems being resolved overnight in this game. I get why BMI is worth a look as a home underdog but in the end, I think UNC Greensboro gets the win and cover here.
