TCU Horned Frogs Betting Preview

Over on the TCU side, they’ve played four games so far. The opener matchup was against New Orleans. The Frogs had a rough 44-28 deficit in the first half. TCU got better with a 46-34 run but it wasn’t enough in a 78-74 loss. Tops in scoring was David Punch with 19 points and eight boards in 30 minutes. Micah Robinson added 14 points with six rebounds.

TCU got their first win of the year versus St. Francis PA. In that second outing the Frogs went into halftime with a 53-29 advantage, and finished on a 51-34 run for a 104-63 victory. Tanner Toolson led this time with 25 points and two boards, while Robinson doubled up on 13 points with 10 rebounds.TCU got another win in game three versus Lamar. The Frogs were up by only one point at the half, then managed a 39-27 run the rest of the way in a 78-65 win. Leading this time was Jayden Pierre with 18 points and two assists. Three more players added 12 points apiece, while Micah Robinson chipped in with 11 points and three rebounds alongside one assist in 24 minutes.

Back on Friday versus Michigan, the Frogs fell back into the loss column. TCU was ahead by two at halftime but faltered from there in a tough defeat 67-63. Why the TCU Horned Frogs will win

UMKC vs TCU Prediction

I’ll stick with TCU. The Frogs should have every advantage here, but then again I thought that same thing about the New Orleans game. In any case, TCU managed to hang around with Michigan in their last game despite shooting pretty miserably on 37.1 percent from the field and 10-of-15 (66.7 percent) from the line—not to mention the ugly 42-20 deficit in rebounding. Michigan’s sloppy 21 turnovers helped keep the Frogs in the game but TCU ultimately fell short. The Frogs have 74 or more points in three of four outings so far this year, so they shouldn’t have a ton of issues scoring against Kansas City.

Andrew Jett's Pick: TCU Horned Frogs -24.5
